• Account information: Email address and password when you create an account via Firebase Authentication.
• Resume data: If you use the resume optimization feature, your uploaded resume text is processed to tailor it for specific job postings.
• Job search preferences: Your saved alerts, search queries, and filter preferences.
• Application tracking data: Jobs you mark as applied to, including status updates you set.
• Device information: Firebase Cloud Messaging tokens for push notifications.
• Location data: With your permission, approximate location to suggest your country for job filtering. This is processed on-device and not stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide real-time job listings from company career pages.
• To send push notifications when new jobs match your saved alerts.
• To optimize your resume using AI for specific job postings (Premium feature).
• To track your job applications.
• To improve the service and fix bugs.

3. Job Data

Job listings displayed in Apply Early are sourced from publicly available company career pages and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS). We do not create or modify job listings. All jobs link directly to the original company posting.

4. Data Storage

• Account data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud).
• Resume text is stored securely and used only for optimization purposes.
• Job data is cached temporarily and refreshed every 90 seconds.
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except:

• Firebase/Google Cloud for authentication and data storage.
• When required by law.

6. Data Retention

Account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), Firebase Authentication, and secure cloud storage. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and data.
• Opt out of push notifications at any time.

9. Children's Privacy

Apply Early is not intended for users under 16 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
